The NEW F5 Coupler with Female Pyramid Receiver provides prosthetists yet another option for providing patients with a quick changing self-aligning device to quickly change prosthetic feet of knee-shin systems. The device incorporates a female pyramid receiver on the distal aspect adjustments are possible to the distal portion of the coupler without the expense of additional components.
This model saves time by having the female pyramid receiver incorporated directly into the coupler. This feature allows different types of prosthetic feet or knee-shin systems to be uniquely aligned. (i.e. changing from walking foot to a running foot). The new F5 is constructed of high strength aircraft grade aluminum alloy to provide a strong, yet lightweight component and is hard coated for even greater durability.
